A Heritage-Inspired Brand Identity for Automotive Culture and Modern Performance

Turbo Revival is a brand identity project rooted in automotive culture, celebrating the intersection between heritage motorsport aesthetics and contemporary performance design. Studio Sole was engaged to create a visual identity that captured this energy - drawing inspiration from classic racing liveries, analogue design language and the raw character of enthusiast car culture.

The objective was to build a brand that felt authentic to the automotive world while still being flexible enough to exist across merchandise, digital applications and promotional material.

Building a Brand with Mechanical Character

At the core of Turbo Revival is a respect for automotive history - particularly the visual language of vintage motorsport, endurance racing and performance tuning culture.

The identity combines bold typography, structured layout systems and high-contrast visual elements to create a sense of movement and energy. Rather than relying on overly polished corporate aesthetics, the brand leans into a more raw and expressive direction that reflects the culture it represents. The result is a visual identity that feels fast, loud and intentional — designed to resonate with automotive enthusiasts while remaining adaptable across modern applications.

Designed for Real-World Application

Beyond concept, the identity was developed as a functional system that could be applied across a wide range of outputs including apparel, digital content and print-based media. Consideration was given to how the identity would behave across different scales and environments - from small embroidered applications to large-format graphics and promotional assets. This ensures the brand maintains consistency regardless of where it appears. The flexibility of the system allows Turbo Revival to expand into future products and collaborations without losing its core identity.
